The Life Waiting in You
Sometimes words alone don’t capture what life feels like, so I wrote this poem for anyone who feels stuck or unfulfilled.
Life can be heavy,
days frozen in place,
you wonder where you’re headed,
searching for grace.
Sometimes there’s an emptiness,
though nothing feels wrong,
a quiet ache inside you
that lingers too long.
You scroll through bright windows,
others’ lives on display,
hours drift by in silence,
your own path slips away.
The question arises:
Where am I going?
Yet the answer feels distant,
uncertain, unknowing.
So the cycle continues,
familiar, unfilled,
a longing for meaning
yet standing still.
But even in stillness,
a spark can ignite,
a small step forward
can bring back the light.
Your story’s not finished,
your path can be new—
the life that you’re seeking
is waiting in you.
If you resonate with this, know you’re not alone — therapy can be a space to explore these feelings and rediscover your path.
